Mason Street Neighborhood

Olympic Neighbors is expanding by building two new homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County at their Mason Street Neighborhood, a vibrant and inclusive neighborhood in Port Hadlock.

With the expansion into Mason Street, we envision a future where more adults with IDD in East Jefferson County:

  • Have a safe, supportive place to call home

  • Feel empowered to participate fully in the community, pursue their interests, and achieve their personal goals

  • Live near their families

  • Thrive alongside their Mason Street neighbors in a welcoming, walkable neighborhood that is designed for social interactions and community connections

The neighborhood, designed to ensure the local workforce can afford to live here, will consist of over 136 units comprised of duplexes, triplexes and quadplexes plus Olympic Neighbor’s two larger adult family homes. Each adult family home will house six adults with IDD. The homes will be owned and operated by Olympic Neighbors.

We invite you to join us in making this vision a reality. Your input now will help shape the creation of these two new homes, providing more individuals with the opportunity to live meaningful, connected lives in a community that embraces them. Together, we can ensure that adults with IDD have the homes and the community they deserve here in Jefferson County.
